Founder & CEO
Dr. Leighton Ellis is a transformational leadership expert, certified life coach, and senior academic with a profound commitment to education and human capital development. With over 20 years of experience spanning engineering, higher education, and leadership training, he offers a unique and integrative perspective on developing people and systems for sustainable growth.
Currently, he serves as a senior lecturer at The University of the West Indies, where he teaches courses in construction management, organizational leadership, and professional development. His academic and professional journey bridges the technical rigor of civil engineering with the human-centered focus of leadership, mentorship, and capacity building.
His work centers on empowering individuals and institutions to turn challenges into opportunities, especially within Small Island Developing States. As a life coach and educator guided by faith, Dr. Ellis champions holistic developmentāhelping students, professionals, and leaders unlock their God-given potential. His message is clear: education is not just about knowledge, but about transformation.

Instructor
Meeca Sookoo is a results-driven Project Planner and Civil Engineer with over 18 years of experience leading construction projects across the Caribbean and South America. She holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Construction Management (with distinction), blending deep technical knowledge with strategic execution in planning, scheduling, and project delivery.
Currently serving as Project Planner at Pacific Rim Constructors in Guyana, Meeca applies a robust mix of planning and control strategies, including Critical Path Method (CPM), Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and Earned Value Management (EVM). Her expertise in scheduling tools such as MS Project, and contract administration positions her as a critical asset in managing complex, time-sensitive projects.
Beyond the construction industry, Meeca is a mentor and founder of a youth mentorship program that empowers young people to build a brighter, more prepared future. She is also a devoted wife and mother of two, a nature lover, and an artist at heart.

Instructor
Mr. Marwan Sufyan holds a BSc (Hons) in Civil & Structural Engineering and has been active in the building construction industry since 2008, with professional experience in both Qatar and Sri Lanka. Since 2013, he has specialized in teaching AutoCAD 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
In addition to his industry background, Mr. Sufyan has served as a lecturer since 2018 for the Liverpool John Moores University program. He delivers courses in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Engineering Technology, and Site Surveying.
He has also contributed internationally as a STEM trainer for Malaysia's MIT, where he provides professional training in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor.

Instructor
Fieona Griffiths is a distinguished Jamaican entrepreneur and accomplished business leader. She holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance and a minor in International Business, graduating with honors from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
With over 20 years of senior management experience, she now serves as the Owner and Managing Director of Pioneering Consultancy Company Ltd. (PCC), an approved business development organization of the Development Bank of Jamaica. Through PCC, Griffiths champions nation building by providing strategic support to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
She is a published author, with works including "Deceitfulness: A Tale of Trickery, Lust, and Money Power," which equips CEOs and entrepreneurs with practical strategies for navigating workplace challenges, blending corporate insight, academic knowledge, and biblical wisdom.
Our courses address the unique challenges of SIDS, from climate resilience to resource management.
