<p>The <strong>Institute of Technology, Engineering and Management (ITEM)</strong> offers this foundational program to bridge the gap between traditional drafting and modern <strong>Building Information Modeling (BIM)</strong>. Designed for architects, civil engineers, and drafting professionals, this course provides a rigorous technical introduction to <strong>Revit Architecture</strong>. Participants will move beyond basic software operation to master the conceptual framework of BIM, including element hierarchy, Level of Detail (LOD), and the "3Cs" of project coordination. This training is specifically aligned with <strong>ITEM’s</strong> mission to equip Caribbean professionals with international standards while addressing regional infrastructure needs. </p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: </u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Navigate the <strong>Revit Architecture</strong> user interface and manage project templates in both Imperial and Metric units.</li><li>Develop complex architectural geometry using advanced wall types, including EIFS, tapered, and slanted walls.</li><li>Design diverse roof systems such as Gable, Butterfly, and Kandyan roofs, alongside custom vertical openings and dormers.</li><li>Apply <strong>parametric design</strong> principles to the creation of floors, ceilings, and multi-story staircases.</li><li>Generate accurate site topography and toposolids from sketches and subdivide site components for professional presentation.</li><li>Produce high-quality visualizations using Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials and advanced camera views.</li></ul>
